Albert was born in Freeport, Illinois. He has one brother, two sisters, one son and a grandson. He lived most of his adult life in Rockford and graduated from Auburn High School. Albert attended Dominican University and Rasmussen College and has a degree in legal studies.
Albert dedicated more than 20 years of service to the Rockford community in a variety of roles. Albert was a former aide to retired State Representative 67 District, Chuck Jefferson.
Albert most notably served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crusader Clinic. He was also a vice-chairman and served on numerous other committees. Albert has served as an advocate for mental health services and served on the Board of Janet Wattles.
Albert has been a champion in directing and supervising many youth programs in Rockford such as Camaraderie Arts, YMCA and the Rockford Park District. Albert has served and received three mayoral appointments for the City of Rockford. He has also served on the Billboard Task Force, Community Development Citizen's Participation Committee and the West State Corridor Study Committee.
If elected, Albert promises to serve the community with integrity, dedication and excellence in constituent service.
